Zemen Saving and Credit Cooperative has successfully concluded a five-day intensive training program on the core banking system provided by the Cooperative Bank of Oromia, aimed at strengthening the institution’s digital and operational capacity.
The training was delivered to Zemen Head Office management and branch managers following the mutual agreement previously reached between Zemen Saving and Credit Cooperative and the Cooperative Bank of Oromia. The program focused on enhancing participants’ practical understanding of the core banking system and preparing leadership teams for its effective implementation across the cooperative’s operations.
The training was conducted at the Hidyat Working Hub Center, a modern facility equipped with the necessary technology, infrastructure, and professional working environment required for high-level institutional training and capacity-building programs. The venue provided a well-supported setting that contributed to the effectiveness and smooth delivery of the sessions.
This important initiative marks another meaningful step in Zemen’s journey toward institutional modernization, improved service delivery, and stronger digital financial management. It also reflects the value of strategic partnership and shared commitment to building efficient, responsive, and future-ready cooperative systems.
